Needles and Pens co-owner and all around great drinker Andrew M. Scott teams up with fellow photographer Geoffrey Ellis to bring an Eggleston-like photo show to one of the best uses of space in San Francisco. Greatly admired by myself and others for his frequent usage of the glorious Olympus Pen-F half-frame camera (rare finds—I can only afford to win Pen-EEs on Ebay), Andrew Scott has a knack for harkening an older age in modern times, a feeling of nostalgia for small-town America, old jukeboxes, handmade things, broken type, and dusty antique figurines. Geoffrey Ellis, the man responsible for the Sadkids zine, adds his own vision of America to what will surely be the show of the month on 16th Street.
