Paul McCarthy and his son, artist and CalArts grad, Damon McCarthy have been collaborating since 2000 on a number of performative video installations, including Caribbean Pirates, a piece inspired by the Disney ride Pirates of the Caribbean.  The duo have worked, alongside a huge crew of actors, builders, mechanics and film personnel, for nearly five years on the Hollywood-scale project.  Paul and Damon McCarthy will both appear in person at the multi-screen installation at REDCAT.
