Everyone who has claimed to love indie rock at some point in their lives has always loved AIR, probably nearly as much as they universally hail Stereolab. I'm going to say Stereolab is probably a bigger French indie band than AIR, and I'll also say I like them more, but AIR solidified their place in history on their own merit with that version of the "Virgin Suicides" soundtrack. So let's just say everyone, with good reason, loves this band, too. With AM.
